Monday

The start of a new week and I hear the birds chirping away. John came into my room and I could only see his hair because it is so blonde. He jumped up on my bed laughing and said " Mom, are you happy that I did not get up early?" Well, I said "John it is only 6am and my room is still dark but I am happy that you did not get up too early!" He is so funny. Every morning it is funny but some how expected to watch the kids personalities unfold. John is like me he is wide awake and ready to start the day. Ashley and Stuart creep into the day. Jacob has horns coming out of the top of his head. He has to be yelled at by Stuart to get up. He waits until he is 10 minutes behind then he gets up. You are better off not talking to Jacob in the morning. Ashley is like her father. She is quiet and spends 10-15 minutes stretching or so she says. Stuart sits on his elbows and hits the alarm every 10 minutes until he can pull himself out of bed. I jump up make up all the beds except Jacobs and then make lunches. My morning ritual is to make coffee! This morning I was out of cream, milk, and I did not have any of the yucky powered stuff. So, after taking the kids to school I headed to the store to gets so cream. I am going to study and I need that coffee.

Sister Time

With only a few weeks left in school. I packed up the car and headed to the beach to see my sister and Mom. I will only be here a few short days but it seems that we see less of each other every year. We are like best friends and get real excited about the visits. I drove straight with one bathroom break 6 hrs 25 mins. The house looks like a house on a featured Magazine I will take pictures of every room tomorrow. My mom has been decorating with every detail. We took the kids to the beach today and Kelly's back went out. She was in so much pain that she walked around for 10 hours with ice on her back and took meds. The kids are having a great time. We had a shrimp boil tonight and all of David's family were here from SC. Mama Jan made a homemade cream cheese pound cake yum.

I called Stuart because they had tornadoes in TN to check on him. He said that he only saw the inside of his office so he didn't hear or see much. Jacob is spending the night with a friend.

On our trip to the beach John ask some of the strangest question an did not start fighting with Ashley until we reached I20. When we got to Aunt Kelly's John ran and played so hard. Then he went digging for Dinosaurs Bones and found oyster shells under ground. Then this morning at 6AM John got me up and we took a walk and I found him a fuzzy caterpillar!

Soccer

Today, Ashley, had her first soccer game and it was a beautiful sunny day. The day started with Cheer leading practice from 10-12Noon. Then we had a little break and it was off to the soccer field. Soccer is the sport for parents because the kids practice one day per week. Cheer leading is a part-time job. Ashley has cheer practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6-8PM. Then games on Saturday. Ashley had a great first game. Stuart was the time keeper and had to yell "one minute" before each quarter was up. Ashley did a great job of running the whole field.

I had the opportunity to teach in my Managagement Nursing class and this is my group.
